Happy Mothers Day :) I am still waiting to be spoilt - glad I'm not holding my breath.

So were you a Leon or Rhydian fan on the X-Factor? Rhydian all the way for me, complete travesity that Leon won. But we Rhydian fans have been exhonerated :) His debut album sold 500,000 (yep, one of those was me for Josh at Christmas) copies. Leon's only sold 150,000 and he's been dropped by his record label :)

Speaking of Josh. He was out last night with Joe and a couple of mates. Some 31 year old lush gets chatting to him and puts her hand up his tee-shirt to feel his pecs! *insert shocked smilie* I wasn't impressed, but he's cool about it. Apparently 'she looked liked Jennifer Aniston and was well fit'. They even shared a cab to town. Now Josh is absolutely fine about it, but had he been a 16 year old girl, and the 31 year old was a man it would have been a sexual assault. So why is it okay?

So Jeff and I were having a heated discussion this morning - he is so not a morning person! There was not enough bread for the kids packed lunches. "Why hadn't I defrosted some bread?!"

Rewind 24 hours, he made Mondays, and we didn't have bread for tea, but apparently that's not the point - "why didn't I defrost some bread?!"

Um. Right. I was at work at 7.45am. I was in my teaching training class at 9.30. I was with a candidate at 1pm. Oh, I did stop at 2.30 for half an hour for a quick lunch. Naughty me! Pick Joe up from college at 3.10. Home for Ella. Take Joe to work. Go to college for a few hours. Home for tea. 7.30 go searching for Ben cos he isn't home. 8pm get Joe from work. Put Ella to bed. Collapse in a heap. And what does my loving husband say? "So why hadn't I defrosted some bread?!"

Hi Suzanne/Latheria :) My absence means I am trying really hard with my lental promise on procrastination!

So as an example, Thursday just gone:
Awake at 3.30 to say goodbye to Jeff as he goes off to work.
Ella wakes me at 4.30.
Off to college at 8am and meeting with a student at 9am.
Out to see a candidate at 10am.
Back to college and out again at 1pm to see a candidate and back to college.
5pm off to Ben's parents evening - which we were really pleased with :)
Finally at 7.30 out with my girlfriends for a get together and lots of rose wine!

So that's one day. In the last 2 weeks I've also:
Been to a surprise 40th birthday party;
And a surpise 50th;
Marked my students assignments for their first unit;
Completed my assignment for my teacher training course;
Still working at the college in admin and with the NVQ candidates and the teaching;
Spent hours down the allotment preparing it for sowing;
Team meetings;
Ella's had her annual statement review;
Smartboard training;
And of course being a taxi service - drycleaners - restaurant - entertainer - disciplinarian - cleaner - babysitter - sandwich bar -educator - nurse -general dogs body!

Phew, quick catch-up!

Gratitude - to be busy in this current climate.

Couple of photos from one of the parties - can you believe that not only we got the whole family to go, but that I managed to get a photo of the boys!!
