Do you think when you get a phone call saying "The meeting you are Chairing started 15 minutes ago, is everything alright?" means you are doing too much!!

Wednesday I left the house at 9am and eventually returned home in a heap at 9.15pm. I don't mind too much as it's just for a couple of weeks to cover another tutor's sick leave. But no way would I like to make a habit of it. Thursday much of the same. Friday and Saturday I was at a conference. During which time I get daft calls from the boys like "Where's my tie?" and "I'm leaving home". Seriously? I'm an hour away from home, what do they honestly think I can do about it? I assume that's part of the Mummy thing - being Omnipresent and all-powerful LOL! While I was out yesterday Ella got to spend a lovely day with her Godmother - Aunty Joy :)

Italy went out of the World Cup - what was that about?!

Photographs taken of my Joshua a few days ago :)

Cup half full as ever I'm already over the self-pitying! Have had some last minute extra classes offered which means an unexpected bonus in my pay check at the end of July - much needed with the summer coming. Joe and Marley have made up :) :) One of the little thugs has been arrested; arrest warrant out for the second; and hopefully DNA will help with a couple more. Jeff has already fixed most of the car so at least it's driveable again. Ella seems to have got over her latest difficult period. Boy does she scream when she wants! Fostering application forms arrived yesterday. Ironically so did something from the LA - an invite to attend an Open Evening - when we're on holiday, and the next one is November! I don't know, they cry out for foster carers, but don't exactly get their finger out *rolls eyes* Um.... Oh, waiting for Jeanette - haven't seen her for months then twice in 3 days she must want something LOL Oh, wait a minute, yes she does LMAO. And the sun is shining. And Jeff and I both have the day off :)
The mini-album is something I made for one of Joshua's best mates - Aaron - as a pressie for his girlfriend. It's only little, but I think cute :)

With the car being vandalised and Joe being in it at the time; Two of Ben's friends being sick here last night; Ella being poorly; Ella's school deciding they won't be letting her retake Year 6; Plus the general day to day cr*p I am glad this week's nearly over! I've only had about 16 hours sleep the last 3 days and am definately getting cranky. And then tomorrow's Monday and we start all over again! But at least I got to have a cuppa with Jeanette and Pete - so not all bad LOL

So, the photo is Jeff's handiwork on the moped for the World Cup - the way they're playing it won't be on the seat for long!

Okay, just a quick boring recap of the last fortnight. Up till Monday was frantically completing all my college work as that was the deadline. So it's all handed in, now just got to wait and see. Joshua has been trying out for the local town's Allied County Team. Last trial tomorrow so everything crossed for him. Joe's away this weekend with Marley's family. Ella is really enjoying dancing, so pleased for her :) Governor stuff is really stressful - 10 appeals - eek! Work was beginning to wind down, and suddenly I've ended up with 6 extra classes to teach! Oh well, will help towards the lack of wages in August and September. LA haven't phoned about fostering - so Monday sending off application forms to a private fostering organisation. Absolutely ridiculous, we'll end up with the same children, but it will cost the LA twice as much. Go figure.

Quick photo of Ella at the cinema :)
