C is for
Christmas - the meaning; family; decorations; just everything really.
Camping - getting back to nature (except when you've eaten something bad, then it's absolutely no fun at all, trust me on that! TMI?)
Cannon - a local pub I worked in, have some amazing memories from there.
Chocolate - drool. I'm a female, of course chocolate is going to be there!
Cherished Teddies - Love them, although have had to cull them and just keep the ones that have memories attached.
Comedies - Charmed - Chivarly - Christianity - Citrus - Childhood - Charity - Crafting
Center Parcs. One of my lifelines in this emotional roller coaster that is known as life. In fact over the past few years with the shop closing, and then the issues with 2 of the kids, I think it has been a major factor in helping me keep it together - well, as good as I can ;) The way my brain works I don't think I can be compared to the norm.
So. Around 10 years ago I joined an all-girls trip to CP as a last minute filler - sounds like something your boyfriend would buy Christmas Eve ;) I only knew Jeanette, but it was so relaxing and I thought it was something I would love to repeat with a group of friends. And so the annual pilgrimage to CP began. The scrapbook page is from the first year and different friends have come and gone, but Ariane, Joy and I have booked every one since. Actually most of the group now have attended at least 5. We started off in the budget 8 person house - and worked our way up to the deluxe home with steam room, sauna and hot tub - ahhhh hot tub ........... b for bliss ;) We work out a meal timetable so everyone prepares only one meal and we come and go as we please. Sometimes all 8 of us do something together, but the agreement is if you want to do it you can, and if you want to end up like a shriveled prune by sitting in the hot tub all weekend, well you can do that too. Words to describe it? Chilling. Relaxing. Fun. Wine. Chocolates. Singstar. Buzz. Lots of laughs. Walks. Beautiful scenery. Good memories.
I would thoroughly recommend getting a group of girls together and trying it out.
See you tomorrow!
