SATURDAY!
Jeff had booked us into this hotel - Hotel Rafayel on the Left Bank in London
5* hotel! A-may-zing!
We had supper here after riding the buses :)
Then we ended up here! One London show that I had never seen, but always wanted to.......so worth the wait :)
Jeff bumped into one of my girlfriends yesterday who told him he's set the bar now for the other husbands LOL!
Had tea here with the kids, Mum and Aunty Jean and Uncle John. Love this picture obviously not recent, but, apart from the dual carriageway outside the front, the pub still looks much the same.
MONDAY!
Went to the Mind, Body, Spirit London Festival with Ariane. It was great going with someone who actually 'gets' it!
TUESDAY!
Thought I should do a bit of housework!
WEDNESDAY!
P.M. Governor Meeting so got to see Mireille :)
Healthy Blog Hop
P.M. Bottle of wine, good film (Rock of Ages) and Joy :)
FRIDAY!
Coffee with Anna
Wip-It Blog Hop about my latest writing
SATURDAY!
A.M. Mum popped round for a cuppa and a hairdo. Okay, so the image doesn't quite match the info - but it is funny ;)
P.M. And finishing off the week going for an Indian with me Julie :)
Okay, so, so far I love being 50!
What a great week!!! Yes, he did set the bar pretty high for other husbands!
ReplyDeleteIt had to rate as one of the best weeks of my life - now i just have to wait another 50 to repeat it LOL x
DeleteSo far so good, I'd say!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely, I'm under no illusion that it'll last, so I'm just enjoying it while it's happening! x
DeleteWhat a week! How was Les Mis?
ReplyDeleteHi Nick, it was worth the wait! I enjoyed the film, but,as with any show, you get the emotions from the cast and audience :) If you like the music you'll love it - even my husband didn't fall asleep LOL! x
DeleteFabulous week and long may it continue!! :D
ReplyDeleteI so hope so! xx
DeleteWhat a fabulous week you had.
ReplyDeleteYvonne.
I really did Yvonne, it is definitely up there as one of the best so far :) x
DeleteWhat an excellent week! Totally agree with the cartoon about meetings...and I mentioned it once at work and my boss said, "Seckman, stop being a trouble maker"...no respect for honesty!!
ReplyDeleteLOL Elizabeth - you can't win, I thought honesty was supposed to be the best policy! x
