Wednesday Writings

Not been writing much lately, head not been in the right place, but as National Novel Writing Month starts Friday I'm thinking it might be a good way to kick start my creative writing. I did sign up for the July one, then ended up in hospital and got nothing achieved.

If you have no idea what I'm talking about, NaNoWriMo, then the link will explain in more detail, but in a nutshell I am challenging myself to write 50,000 words in the month of November! The word that springs to mind is eeek!

    1. Thanks Yvonne, I don't know if I'll make it, but I'm going to have a jolly good try! x

  2. Good luck!!!!! Is there some kind of word counter you use? I see a lot of my blog friends are participating. I wouldn't know what to write about! 50,000 seems like a lot, but I'm having a hard time figuring out how long a novel that is, page-wise.

    1. Thanks JoJo :) Yes, looking at the forum there's one that's even a spreadsheet and a graph! 50k words is probably about 2/3rds of an average size novel - so enough!!xx

  3. Good luck! I have a feeling November is going to be quiet in the blogosphere with everyone busy writing. I hope you win :)

    1. Thanks Julie:) And I must admit I hadn't thought about the blog - might have to type up a few scheduled posts today so that'll be one less project to be writing! x
