IWSG and CampNaNoWriMo

Okay, I know the latter started yesterday, but if there's one thing I'm going to be insecure about this month, it's going to be writing a ton! Especially with a dodgy wrist *rolls eyes*

Anyhow, to recap for the uninitiated:
IWSG -The Insecure Writers Support Group
Purpose - To share and encourage. Writers can express doubts and concerns without fear of appearing foolish or weak. Those who have been through the fire can offer assistance and guidance. It's a safe haven for insecure writers of all kinds!
Posting is the 1st Wednesday of the month and you can sign up and read more on this linky-link :)

And CampNaNoWriMo - an online community that during July encourages you to write like crazy! Okay, that's it in a nutshell - again, more info and sign-up here!

So, the last few months have disappeared in a blur for one reason or another, but I knew July was going to be a good month for really attempting to nail the second installment in the Legacy novel that I've been toying with like forever! The action is just not happening in my head - the third part I've already fleshed out, but this one joining the two - grrrrr! So loads of positive concentration vibes gratefully received I am the worlds worst at procrastinating! .........oh look, paint drying ;)

  6. Good luck getting those words down this month. I have, in fact, been spending a lot of time painting so far this summer, and have watched more than my share of paint dry. Writing is infinitely more fun!

  12. Summer is a great time for writing if you don't get distracted by the fun outdoor activities. Keep at the writing, but don't forget to have some fun.

  13. I'm struggling with procrastination with my third novel and I keep telling myself I could outline more . . .hahaha. I've never been into outlines and this novel has the best outline I've ever written. So, I'm into Camp NaNo too. :) Happy writing!

    Love the mantra Susan :)

L.Diane - thanks so much, I have a friend who uses Dragon software because of a bad arm, but I hadn't even thought about it!

  15. I have the hardest time writing in summer. If I can do it outside, I'm fine, but then there are the distractions of hammocks and lemonade and siestas in the shade. Good luck.
