Wonderful Weekend

A fortnight ago we went up North to see Debbie and the latest addition to her family, Amelia Grace, 6 weeks old.

Although not intentional it was the summer solstice, which was perfect as we refer to each other as soul sisters and are both very into the whole mind, body, spirit way of thinking. I made Amelia a dream catcher for her with gemstones specific for spirituality and earth angels :)

We started off in Durham at Starbucks and then spent a few hours strolling around. Debbie led us to a park so Ella and Evangeline could go on the swings. Only when we got there it didn't have a play park! This was a bit of deja-vu as last time we were up visiting she took me and Ella to the castle - only again, when we got there they had moved the castle ;) Sunday we met her lovely hubby and two of her boys.

While we were up there our friends Lou and Mark suggested we meet them on the way home. Not only that they drove an hour to meet us so we didn't have to add several hours onto the journey. And not only that we had a meal in a restaurant and they insisted on treating us as a thank you for the ceremony weekend :) We should have been thanking them for all the help they gave us - if I had to name 5 people that went above and beyond helping us, their names would be in the list :) Love you guys :)
