Guided Ultrasound Steroid Injection

My wrist injury happened at the same time as my Lis Franc damage - turns out putting your hand out to save yourself? Not such a good idea. Anyhow, steroid jab ..... ouch! to put it mildly, but if it works it'll be worth it and the doc said he could def see damage.

For the next 3 days I need to move my wrist as little as possible to help the steroid liquid stay put where it's needed and not disperse too quickly. Not easy when it's my right hand and I'm right handed. Typing this just with my left hand!

So, while I'm wearing this, I'm going to catch up on reading and have picked up this :)

  1. you never realize how much you use a body part till it's immobilized! Hope the time passes quickly and you see some relief!

  2. Hope you're soon on the mend. I had to have a ganglion cyst removed from my wrist and was stuck with a big bandage for a few days. It was my left hand and I'm right-handed but it still made things very difficult because I'm so used to having a non-dominant hand to help out the dominant one!

Enjoy the book. I didn't want to put it down and it made me cry at the end. Definitely a good one!
