Going to be lots of these! Today I'll focus on my shoes which is generally positive.
I have 1-2 orders a week starting to come in, which I'm happy with for now. After Christmas I hope to book one wedding fair a month from January to June as I think they'll be good events to find customers.
I have started to contact all the local schools regarding proms.
In our local town there's a pop-up craft market, and I have booked a table until April. It's 6 days a week, and I just need to go in periodically to tidy the display, leave business cards and order forms. It's only £20 a week and definitely worth it as already had some orders.
At a recent fair I was approached by another supplier, who deals in dresses, and asked it I'd like to have my shoes on their website! After a big 'eeek!' and a bit of negotiations, it's all going ahead.
I was interviewed here by Paula Buenos Aires which was such a compliment :)
My website is here
If you're a facebook fan the page is Suzannes Emporium UK here :)
Finishing with a couple of my favourite shoes. Getting back into blogging so be prepared for a lot of catch up posts!
You do such gorgeous work. Can people buy plain shoes and then have you embellish them?
ReplyDeleteHi JoJo, yes, quite a few customers do. Sometimes it's because they're going to be on their feet all day (like brides) or someone like me who's got a broken foot and can't fit normal shoes! xx
DeleteBeautiful, as always. I'm not surprised you have orders! The first ones are my favorites from this batch :)
ReplyDeleteThey are lovely aren't they :) They were for a November bride, and she had a beautiful red cloak over her wedding dress :) xx
DeleteGood luck with everything! Those shoes are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThanks Cherie :) xx
DeleteOh WOW. I love these. So creative. I can think of a better way to put your talent to use than creating beautiful shoes! Brides would love shoes like these, too.
ReplyDeleteThanks Stephanie, I love making them, hoping brides will too! xx
