This year I believe is going to be an amazing year for our family, both personally and professionally. Sitting in my corner of our house where I meditate, surrounded by angels, and my semi-precious stones I have been completing this workbook and planner today from Leonie Dawson and together with copious note books, tabs and coloured pens I have mapped out how I want the year to develop. I know that life can, and in our case often does, get in the way, but it's always good to have a starting point to get back on track :)
I hope it works out for you!!! I've given up resolutions and planning because everything always seems to go sideways. Then I end up angry and frustrated.
ReplyDeleteThanks JoJo! I've changed my thoughts on how to do them this year. Rather than have unrealistic aims, they're all bite-sized chunks for personal and business. So I've broken weight loss down into 1/2 stone targets, and there's things like date nights and getting together with friends. So about 80% are do-able and the others are hopeful! Trying not to set myself up to fail this year :) xx
DeleteWith your optimism and having broken things up, I bet you will be able to do them! The new year always brings such fresh possibility- it's great!
ReplyDeleteThanks Leandra! I know some people say it's just another day, but I think all the good feelings everyone has helps with new possibilities :) xx
DeleteHi Suzanne. Thanks for the visit. I think it's important to set goals for the new year. We may not accomplish all we set out to do (life does indeed happen), but we need to set a course at least so we have something to shoot for. Also I try to see the positive side of failure, as something learned. I mean we can always improve. Anyway, I really like your approach :)
ReplyDeleteHi Sharon, thanks for the kind words - let's hope the approach works! x
DeleteYou just have to do your best. I hope you not only achieve your goals but find some surprises too.
ReplyDeleteHi Sheena! With so many children and so many plans, I'm expecting lots of surprises (?challenges lol!) xx
DeleteLooks like you're off to a great start for 2015! What a fun way to set goals! Happy New Year to you, and your family!
