  1. I love visiting castles. The most recent one I've visited is Caerphilly Castle in Wales and it was fascinating. It was also interesting because it links to the island in Scotland where I live (where we have another castle which we drive past on the way to work each morning). ;-)

    1. Oh I haven't visited any in Wales yet - I did visit a couple in Scotland years ago. Will be pleased when my husband gives up shift work and we can go away weekends and visit a few more places :)

    1. Hi Hilary - one of my girlfriends won a competition which was to take 5 friends to London, stay in a hotel overnight, and have AH all to ourselves :) He is such a lovely man - as kind and funnny IRL as he is on the TV :) xx

  4. I'm surprised there are no traditional Christmas markets in England. I know they have them in Germany. Out in WA there is the annual 'Victorian Country Christmas' but it's not an outdoor market; it's held inside the huge Showplex on the Puyallup Fairgrounds.

    1. There's a local one I tried JoJo, but it really wasn't all that, I think it will definitely be a case of visiting Germany :) xx

  6. Beautiful C pictures; I would like to see a castle some day. I think it would be honorable to fund a child's cleft lip surgery indeed.

    1. Castles are amazing, such history, and I get such a feeling of belonging when I visit them - no idea why! I loved that idea too Betty, didn't want my bucket list to just be about visiting but also about doing :) xx

    1. I love Rome Sharon (my dad's Italian) but it has been years since I've actually enjoyed just sight-seeing in Rome - there's definitely a few Italy places on my A-Z :) xx

  10. Great theme! I don't like camping but I'm CPR certified, so it's a trade-off :) Good luck on A-Z!

    1. I never liked camping but when I met my husband it was the only kind of holiday we could afford - and then it grew on me and now I actually enjoy it! xx
