I love visiting castles. The most recent one I've visited is Caerphilly Castle in Wales and it was fascinating. It was also interesting because it links to the island in Scotland where I live (where we have another castle which we drive past on the way to work each morning). ;-)

Oh I haven't visited any in Wales yet - I did visit a couple in Scotland years ago. Will be pleased when my husband gives up shift work and we can go away weekends and visit a few more places :)
DeleteHi Suzanne .. you got on the Ansley Harriott cooking series - fun .. and the thought of the Colour Run is amazing .. while some of the C places would be great to visit .. Identify 10 constellations ... I can see more camping ahead with some clear skies .. cheers lovely lists - Hilary
ReplyDeleteHi Hilary - one of my girlfriends won a competition which was to take 5 friends to London, stay in a hotel overnight, and have AH all to ourselves :) He is such a lovely man - as kind and funnny IRL as he is on the TV :) xx
DeleteI have crocheted a blanket before. It is fun.
ReplyDeleteI love that we now have throws in the living room that I've either knitted or crocheted :) x
DeleteI'm surprised there are no traditional Christmas markets in England. I know they have them in Germany. Out in WA there is the annual 'Victorian Country Christmas' but it's not an outdoor market; it's held inside the huge Showplex on the Puyallup Fairgrounds.
ReplyDeleteThere's a local one I tried JoJo, but it really wasn't all that, I think it will definitely be a case of visiting Germany :) xx
DeleteI'd like to see those cliffs.
ReplyDeleteYeah, there are castles all over the place in England. Can't miss them!
They do look amazing don't they? Got a couple of places in Ireland lined up :) x
DeleteBeautiful C pictures; I would like to see a castle some day. I think it would be honorable to fund a child's cleft lip surgery indeed.

Castles are amazing, such history, and I get such a feeling of belonging when I visit them - no idea why! I loved that idea too Betty, didn't want my bucket list to just be about visiting but also about doing :) xx
DeleteLove the bucket list - how fun. That's alot of buckets!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy A to Zing
I know! I'm going to have to try really hard not to add anything to it LOL! x
DeleteGoing to Ireland is #1 on my bucket list. :D
ReplyDeleteYep, it's near the top of mine - especially now number 3 son emigrated there to be with his girlfriend! xx
DeleteMy personal vote is for Rome but any would be nice.
ReplyDeleteI love Rome Sharon (my dad's Italian) but it has been years since I've actually enjoyed just sight-seeing in Rome - there's definitely a few Italy places on my A-Z :) xx
DeleteGreat theme! I don't like camping but I'm CPR certified, so it's a trade-off :) Good luck on A-Z!
ReplyDeleteI never liked camping but when I met my husband it was the only kind of holiday we could afford - and then it grew on me and now I actually enjoy it! xx
