No kidding! I think even I have seen an ECLIPSE in August, 1999. Was it the same annular eclipse? If you wanna explore a cave, come down to Ajanta (India). I will be happy to host you :)
I love the idea of a bucket list. My Mom and I had Pompeii and The Vatican on our bucket list and we were elated when we finally got to go and see those places.
We were supposed to fly in to Paris but AirFrance went on strike and we were re-routed to Frankfort. Hey, Frankfort doesn't have an Eiffel Tower, people! How does that make an even trade???
Hi! I've visited Pompeii in recent years but not the Vatican since I was a teen, so want to repeat that one - I think I'd appreciate it far more now than I did then :) And you're right, Frankfurt is no Paris! x
I don't count this eclipse Hilary - didn't see a thing thanks to the clouds :( Thanks for the info re the Okavango Caves - I am claustrophobic so being large and spacious is a must when I do that one! x
I seem to recall a partial solar eclipse in San Francisco in the 90s....I just remember going outside my office building and the light got all weird and orange.
I'm always afraid to go for walks around here because the last time we did, someone's dog got out and tried to attack our dog. I just need to walk with a big can of Mace, I guess!

ReplyDeleteEvening walks are the best! I try to go on one every day. :)
ReplyDeleteExploring a cave would be a lot of fun. With an experienced guide, of course. ;)
I love going on an evening walk, but the one solar eclipse I spotted was not that great.
ReplyDeleteExploring a cave is fun!! Find one near you and get it done.
