A-Z Journey of a Broken Foot (Lisfranc Injury)

If you’d like to know about my own injury, here’s a link to the inside scoop J But my daily A-Z posts are more general and informative, just so, if the time comes, you know what someone is going through because, trust me, it’s not ‘just a broken foot!’

BRUISING - An injury appearing as an area of discoloured skin on the body, caused by a blow or impact rupturing underlying blood vessels. Bruising on the plantar aspect of the foot is highly suggestive of a Lisfranc injury.

  2. Yikes! That's a nasty bruise! I bruise all the time, actually, but nothing has ever looked quite like that.

  3. After reading the link provided to your injury, I'd say your right....it's not just a broken foot. As a former athlete and coach of a sport that renders sprained ankles, torn tendons, ligaments and other foot and toe issues, I feel fortunate to not have felt your pain. Very informative about Lisfranc injury. Thanks for your visit to my 'Button' post.
