A-Z Journey of a Broken Foot (Lisfranc Injury)

If you’d like to know about my own injury, here’s a link to the inside scoop :) But my daily A-Z posts are more general and informative, just so, if the time comes, you know what someone is going through because, trust me, it’s not ‘just a broken foot!’

VITAMINS - Any of a group of organic compounds which are essential for normal growth and nutrition and are required in small quantities in the diet because they cannot be synthesized by the body....... most people can get all the vitamins they need from a healthy diet........
1. Calcium - is the primary mineral found in bones. Avoid taking with high iron foods
2. Magnesium - is required for bone formation
3. Vitamin D - is essential for calcium absorption
4. Omega-3 fats - are necessary for wound healing and for reducing inflammation caused by an acute injury
5. Green superfood powder - look for a powder that contains nutrient-rich sea vegetables and essential minerals for bone rebuilding (following package instructions carefully)

Definition from Oxford Dictionary

  1. I should be taking supplements but they have to make the pills so huge that I end up choking and dry heaving.
