A-ZJourney of a Broken Foot (Lisfranc Injury)

If you’d like to know about my own injury, here’s a link to the inside scoop J But my daily A-Z posts are more general and informative, just so, if the time comes, you know what someone is going through because, trust me, it’s not ‘just a broken foot!’

EMERGENCY SERVICES - Here in the UK we have the Fire, Police, Ambulance and Coast Guard. I did try not to call out an ambulance, but it was physically impossible for me to move off of the floor, so I relented. They were fab. As was the staff at the A & E Department. Our National Health Service might have its problems, but for emergencies, they’re on the ball :)

  1. Around here there have been significant delays getting the ambulance to come. Too short staffed and too many people.

    1. It's just not right, there are some areas that money should be spent on, not cut back! x

  2. Glad you had a good experience. And that you didn't try to drive.

    1. Thanks Alex :) No, that would have been a nightmare (and I sort of think if I had had an accident my insurers would not have paid out!)
