If you’d like to know about my own injury, here’s a link to the inside scoop :) But my daily A-Z posts
are more general and informative, just so, if the time comes, you know what
someone is going through because, trust me, it’s not ‘just a broken foot!’
FRACTURE - A crack or break in a hard object or material, typically a bone or a rock stratum: 'a fracture of the left leg'......
FACEBOOK PAGE – I did what so many people do …… I Googled
this injury and very swiftly wished I hadn’t. If the pain, bed rest and waiting
for an operation wasn’t bad enough, then Googling for information just about
finishes you off! Instead, go to the Lisfranc fracture club, lots of support and advice :)

I had a fractured wrist once but it wasn't a full break and I was in a soft cast for 2 weeks. Must've been a linear one.
ReplyDeleteI liked that photo - you don't really think about there being so many different breaks :) Hope your wrist healed okay x
DeleteKnock on wood - I've never had a broken bone. I can't imagine all the peripheral issues that come with something like that. Good luck on the challenge! We're doing “I’ve Got The Music In Me” this year on The Road We’ve Shared. – looking at how important music is in the Down syndrome community. I hope you’ll stop by and see/hear! http://theroadweveshared.com/category/a-to-z-blogging-challenge-2016
